Quonset Hut Guest House: Time Lapse!
I love putting together these time lapse videos. The Quonset hut arches look so cool when they just go together fast!
We realized later that we didn’t really have any photos of the scissor lift except for what we got on video. Seeing it pop up and down so fast is kind of hilarious in a way; it was actually really tedious at times to position it correctly.
Check it out on our YouTube channel and please subscribe if you enjoy it.

Looks great. I want to do this …hope someday to do some kind of configuration / mini compound / multiple unit home tied together…great show.
Thanks so much for the kind words! I hope you can realize your dream someday, too.
How did you attach the base plate to the icf wall? I’ve been looking into this and it looks like the base holes line up on the foam and not the concrete??
I designed the wall to have a section at the top that was wider than the ICF and was all concrete. This is technically called a “bond beam”. You can see it more clearly in this post if you scroll down to the pictures near the end of the post.
